Requirements

Operating System: Any

Game: Any

Metamod Version: 1.16 or later

Adminmod Version: 2.50.56

Logd Version: 1.00.5 or later

HL Guard Version: 1.41 or later (Optional)

Cheating-Death Version: 4.0 or later (Optional)

LAN Servers / Bots

This plugin requires WONIDs, ValveIDs or SteamIDs for players in order to work properly. It will not work correctly on a LAN. It is compatible with servers that have a mix of Internet players and bots but will identify all bots as the same player.

Optional Components

The plugin will integrate with HLGuard so that the whois database will record the suspicions and the actions of HLGuard regarding cheaters.

The plugin will integrate with Cheating-Death recording seperate K:D ratios for a player with and without Cheating-Death, and requiring players that exceed specified performance criteria to use Cheating-Death on a server where it is in optional mode.

A web server is required to publish the player information database on your website. No server-side scripting plugin is required on the web server (such as php or asp) so any web server application can be used. Apache and Microsoft IIS have been tested.

Publishing the database on the website requires a periodic processing script to be run. Currently this script only exists for Windows so publishing is not supported on Linux at this time. To run this script Microsoft VB Script 5.6 and Microsoft XML 3.0 or later are required. These can be downloaded using the preceeding links but are already present if you have IE 6.0 installed.

To view the database in your browser, it must support XSLT. Currenty this means IE 6. Mozilla 1.3 also supports XSLT but my javascript is not compatible with it (yet). If you have problems with this you may need to download Microsoft XML Version 4.0, although I believe it is include in the latest version of IE 6.

And just in case anyone thinks there is a typo above - MSXML version 4 is required on the machine with the web browser. Only version 3 is required on the server (although version 4 will work there too).
